Is it finally time to this party started?!!
If the tiny birthday fairy came to visit and could grant you a Vacation wish, where would you wish to spend your vacation?
I actually have to split my answer into 2. If it were just Peter and I (and Grandma had the kiddo's) I'd wish to go back to Hawaii. Good food, unbelievable scenery and perfect weather. If it were a family vacation, Disneyland! It was the best family vacation we've done!!

I have wanted to go to Nashville, TN forever! Its just a few hours from me but I have never gotten there.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the birthday fairy will come soon, my birthday is Friday so maybe she can grant me a vacation wish soon!
Wow...the VACA fairy...good question. I would love to visit Majorica, Spain and be absorbed into the culture...the music..the dancing...the food...I am getting excited just at the thought!!
ReplyDeleteI am still in the mode of not being able to leave anywhere without my kids (give me few more years that might change :-)) so I would ask the fairy to take us somewhere warm (the cold winter is approaching) ... maybe on the Caribbean Islands, where we could just sit on a beach in warm sun, sip fruity drinks, and watch the kids playing in sand! We would need a spacious hotel room with a balcony that overlooks the restaurant with evening live music that we could enjoy from top... and view of the ocean would just be the bonus! ok, now you got me in the mood!
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit the Med - Greece, Corfu, Istanbul, and then stop in Venice on the way home. Eat lots of fantastic food, drink the wines, and just absorb the culture!
ReplyDeleteMy ideal vacation would be to Miami Beach, FL. It has everything- fabulous beach, glamourous nightlife, sultry tropical weather & fantastic shops *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI'd really love to go to Switzerland and stay in an Ice Hotel for a night. They look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteTahiti for sure!!!! Or Hawaii, they are kid friendly there :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds crazy, but at the moment I would choose South Korea. My hubby is there right now so I'd love to spend it with him. The second place would be in the mountains of Colorado. I love it there.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time, B.K. (Before Kids), I lived a few months in Greece. Even though that time is fading further and further back into the past, I know SOMEday I will return. So my ideal vacay, because this IS a fantasy, right? lol, would be to take the two of them with me, to Mykonos or Santorini or Crete, living in a cottage in some smaller beach village, sitting on the beach and walking through the olive groves I remember so well, with their particular quality of afternoon sunlight creating the most idyllic scene I fantasize about it years later ... sigh ...
ReplyDeleteI think I'd have to pick Italy. Maybe a Mediterranean cruise would be nice.
ReplyDeleteOk so this is sad but my kids have never been to disneyland and we live here in california soooo i would have to say disneyland. If it was just my hubs and I it would be england or ireland to look up relatives.
ReplyDeleteI've just got back from Canada, much as it was beautiful I'd be quite happy to be granted a wish to stay in the UK, flying is not for me! The Lake District or Cornwall me thinks!
ReplyDeleteFor me it has to be Hawaii. We spent some magic moments there when we were first married. Now we are seniors and I would love to revisit those times. But I always love to visit my daughter in Gilbert, AZ.
ReplyDeleteMine is a split response too. I spent a year in Belgium as an exchange student. It is my home away from home and I always long to return. Last March I went to Uganda for 3 weeks for a mission trip. I left my heart there and I know I'll be back. I would love it if my kids and husband could see what I experienced in both of these beautiful countries. -Alisa
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, because there is no way we could ever get away without the kids, I would have to say Disneyland! They are the perfect ages (4 & 6) and my aunt lives in southern CA and keeps inviting us out. The winters get really long here and I think I actually hear the ocean calling my name! {wink} And just a week of sunshine would be good for the soul!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to travel Europe with my husband and our kids. I went in college and I want to share the amazing experience with them.
ReplyDeleteI'll split along with you...if it was me & my hubby it would be to go back to Sweden and visit all the places we'd love to visit together as a couple ~ with the kiddos, it would be to Disneyworld in Florida :) We've never been and we want to go so badly!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go back to Thailand - since my birthday is on December, and it is probably the best season in Thailand.
ReplyDeleteWell....It won't happen this year, since I'm having my third boy this December (much better birthday gift lol)
I'd love to go to Cape Cod with my husband for a second honeymoon, and I wouldn't even care which season it was! :)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to travel to Italy. I'm half Italian, so there is a lot there I'd love to experience! Hopefully someday...
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go on a Scandinavian cruise and inland tour to see where my ancestors came from.
ReplyDeleteI will wish to spend it in Venezuela, in a top of the Roraima Mountain :)
ReplyDeleteTumwater, WA! *LOL* I was an exchange student in highschool in 89-90 and I'd love to go back to visit old friends.
ReplyDeleteI would like a nice weekend in Santa Barbara. Just the fabulous weather, beautiful beach, some antique shopping. Ahhh...perfect.

ReplyDeleteI would love to go back to my country... South Korea! :) Missing all my family, friends and good yummy FOOD!
ReplyDeleteI would love to vacation in Eastern Europe, especially Romania. I have worked with a Romanian charitable organization for years, and I would love to visit with the children and explore a country that is, in most regions, untouched by the influence of the western world.

ReplyDeleteHubby and I started a road trip from Vancouver (Canada) to LA via the coast highway, and then were on our way to Las Vegas, to make our way back to BC via the Grand Canyon, and then Yellow Stone, but my cars transmission went in BARSTOW! Spent 9 days there! YIKES. I would LOVE to finish our road trip.
