Challenge #3: Birthday Concert Wish
If the tiny birthday fairy came to visit and could grant you tickets to any music concert, who would you want to see?
I really want to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra. (kinda of dorky, but oh-well!) I love their Christmas music, traditional old Christmas songs blended with 80's-ish electric guitars. What's not to love! My sister said it was one of the best live concerts she had seen. So I definitely need to go!
and because I never posted a photo, these are the gift bags I put together.(there are a few more things, but I wanted my photos to be pretty, it'll be a surprise!) and there's one for each post today, so you can enter with each challenge that goes up!
Leave a comment for a chance to win!
I would absolutely love to see Josh Groban in concert. His music is fantastic and I can never believe that anyone could have such a beautiful voice. He also does a lot of charitable work and I would love to be at one of those concerts.
ReplyDeletei know it impossible now, but i would love to see the beatles :o)
ReplyDeletemore realistic is Tori Amos
I would love to go and see Bruce Springsteen with my hubby! I know that's strange, but hubby ADORES him (I think everyone from Europe does ehehhehehe :)) and I would love to take him and make him happy!
ReplyDeleteIt would be a great anniversary gift! (5 years on the 30th of October :))
Btw...those gift bags are ADORABLE!!!
ReplyDeleteI would so love to see Cher in concert!! It is supposed to be a real spectacle and a fabulous show!!
ReplyDeleteNorah Jones or Jack Johnson :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking really hard about this one, since I LOVE music so much and have many favorite artists. But here is the winner - I will have to go with SEAL!!!! Thinking about sitting with my husband in a small audience, lights dimmed, intimate atmosphere, and there is Seal on the stage performing ... his beautiful voice singing "Kiss from a rose" or any of his songs from the new album "Soul"... just a dream!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Sufjan Stevens...especially at Christmas time!
ReplyDeletei would love to see U2 in a small venue - a very small place, where they'd play acoustic, talk to the audience, as though you are the ones they are directly singing to. and i really wish i could have seen micheal jackson.
ReplyDeleteYour work is stunning... :-)
ReplyDeleteI really want to see Madonna some day. My sister saw her in Chicago & said it was the BEST concert EVER... :-)
Janis Joplin. In the still-alive category, Regina Spektor or Aretha Franklin.
ReplyDeleteYou are crazy talented...I love your little goodie bags that you put together! I almost hate to say this, but I'd like to see Lady Gaga...she's pretty out there, so that would be kinda fun to see!!
ReplyDeleteokay, don't laugh... but {years ago} in high school i was supposed to see Bon Jovi with my girlfriend and my parents outlawed the road trip {and apparently i am still harboring some bitter feelings about it LOL!} so that would have to be my answer some 20 years later :)
ReplyDeleteThere are quite a few musicians that I would love to see but I hate crowds so it would have to be in an intimate setting. Last weekend my DH and I went to see Chris Botti in a small restored theatre and he was awesome, but he told a story about doing a wedding in Tuscany, and since Sting lived close by, he and Trudi just dropped by and he sang a few songs - so that's my fantasy!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSince it is just a wish :)
ReplyDeleteI say I would LOVE to see the Beatles!
I would have loved to have seen Michael Jackson in concert. If I can have a birthday fairy, it only stands to reason that she can somehow take me back in time to maybe catch This Is It in rehersal.
ReplyDeleteIf not, then maybe a Phil Collins/Genesis concert in England (and I dont want to hear ANY snickering!)

I would love to see a music concert of Shuli Rand! He is an Israeli singer (I'm from Israel :) ) and he so amazing and his songs are moving. The people that come to his music concerts are so different one from each other - they are really from such different worlds, but his honest songs thrill every soul!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win! :)
I'd love hearing Andrea Bocelli sing with Sarah Brightman.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this blog party. So much fun reading everyone's fave's.
I'm honestly not a concert person, so this is a tough one. I would say either Ray LaMontagne or Keith Urban would be great to listen to.
ReplyDeleteThe gift bags look adorable! So cute, pretty, and fun!
I'd love to see Ben Folds again. Saw him before but it was a concert with lots of bands so his set was only 45 minutes. I could listen to that man sing all day.
ReplyDeletewhat gorgeous gift bags!..my pick would be U2 or the Dave Matthews Band. Thanks for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever go to concerts of any kind, but I'd love to see Tina Turner!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteIt is supposed to be AMAZING!
I would love to see Fleetwood Mac.That is my alltime concert dream. And while we are wishing, can I wish for backstage passes, too!

I would love to have seen Cab perform live, how cool would that be? Ezpecially if I coudl wear some forties polka dot dress and my hair in an up-do...oooh!
ReplyDeletethis may sound
