I think this summer will go down as the summer I scrapbooked everyday. I actually finished the wedding album this week.... not that I had any doubts that I would of course, but 20 finished pages is alot for me. I was thinking about this a couple of days ago and even when I was working for Crate Paper, I don't think I've ever made 20 layouts in a year, let alone in a single week.
This album was fun though, because not only did it need to be for the actual wedding but the days before the wedding, 4th of July parade, a boat trip on the lake, hiking, and I included extra pages for photos of the Bridal shower. So, some of the pages were going to be casual and some were formal and since the request was for something simple, I decided the go the route of a photo-book inspired scrapbook. Simple layouts with pretty embellishments and Project-Life pages every once in awhile for holding extra photos and journaling cards.
The colors were mostly inspired by the wedding, navy blue stripe bridesmaid dresses, lot's of neutrals and a little shimmery gold and silver.

Wow, this is absolutely outstanding! So beautiful. I love the layered page with all of the stitching across it, and the ruffled crepe paper page. Fantastic, as always!
Tara, your album looks stunning! I hope you share more of the pages because I would love to see them. Your style is gorgeous.
Love all these!! Where in the world did you get that sequin paper? *drool* Love how it's not super wedding themed or anything and the colors are great together!
