a lovely Saturday giveaway

*if you're looking for our swap list, I added a shortcut! -------------> click on the heart and it will take you to the post..*

I made a little embellishment kit to giveaway on my blog today. Just a few things to add to a scrapbook layout or if your making your own valentine! My favorite is the handmade stickers, I use them on everything; envelopes, notes, cards, tags... and anything else that I can stick them too. :)

If you're taking a break today leave your name in the comment section... and if you have a little extra time I have a question! More like a poll I suppose. Craft class or Scrapbook class?

(If you had the chance (and spare time) what would you rather take, a class on scrapbooking or a class on crafting? Personally, even though I love working with paper, I think I'd be more incline to choose a crafting class. I like the idea of being more open to different projects and maybe not just focusing on only paper crafting. Does that make sense?)

I'll choose a name on Monday morning!!

I'd pick a craft class. There are so many scrapbooking classes out there, but craft classes are far and few in between :)

Christi said...

I'd take a crafty class. Then I can try the techniques on layouts or cards.

Anonymous said...

For sure a craft class.

Yep craft class. I have so many that I want to learn. :) love the little giveaway!

I'd probably chose a craft class. I mean I feel like I already know pretty much about scrapbooking, but I'm always open to trying new crafty things. Both would be fun, though.
Thanks for the delightful giveaway!

"craft" for sure...then you can leave the techniques wide open and leave it up to participants to decide where to take theirknowledge next! THanks for the chance at your giveaway...you have THE BEST eye for putting together tasty crafting treats! Have a great weekend!

I'd love to take a craft class inspired by scrapbooking...if that makes any sense. And if you're teaching it Tara, I'd take either one! (^•^) xo, Merissa

paper craft class for me :) I love your mini albums and the sweet kits you put together, I am always late to purchase one of them when I arrive in your etsy store (probably because of time zone difference). I hope I am lucky and win this one :)

I would also choose a crafting class. I see myself as an artist and paper is one of my mediums. I think a crafting class would give me the freedom to use my own creativity. Learning new and creative ways to use paper is something I would love to learn. I am also an art teacher so of course whatever I learn I will be passing on to my students. Love it! Thank You!!!!

I would choose a craft class but if you love paper so much maybe it can be a class that incorporates some of that love as well.

blogauthor said...

Yup, definitely a crafting class. Since I love paper so much, it's what I use all the time. Not that I'd say no to a scrapbooking class (lol), but crafting could be ANYthing!

P.S. I love your stickers, too:) They're one of my favorite things I've ever found on etsy.

P.P.S., I've been listening to "Jar of Hearts" so much I'm starting to drive MYSELF crazy, lol.

claudia shadler said...

I would totally take a craft class, learn how to make those cute embellishments that you make, and where to gather inspiration from (besides the goodies that you make :) Lovely embellies, and fun too, awesome!!!

I'm in the minority on this one, but I'd have to scrapbooking class. There's nothing better than making a layout for an album. Even if it's a technique I've used a hundred times, scrapbooking would always get my vote. It's my fave :)

That's tough. I would say new techniques for scrapbooking.

Unknown said...

Beautiful work!!!
I would also pick a crafting class, since the ideas could be used universally. I think developing a wide range of skills is more worth while - makes you more versatile.
